How it works
If you have commercial equipment, used or surplus, and would like to sell it, then we can help. This could be a backup generator, a transformer, a chiller, breakers, or similar commercial units, or several of these things. We even offer full turnkey data center decommission services as well. Each piece of equipment will have a data tag/plate on it which contains the information about the equipment we need to be able to put a value on it. Next, we will need photos of each piece of equipment including the following:
-Clear, readable picture of the data tag/plate. (Generators have two, one on the generator end, and one on the engine itself).
-Control panel and hour meter (If applicable).
-Overall condition photos that best represent the condition of the equipment.
Once we have the photos from you, we can evaluate the equipment and put a value on it based on its age, condition, size, and estimated life remaining. We purchase equipment with the intent to repurpose the equipment, so we are after working equipment. Once we decide if it is something we can purchase, we put a value on it based on the current secondary market's demand for the equipment, creating a fair and current offer. Once we have an agreement on the purchase price, we send our truck to be loaded by you, and we cover the freight costs. We send up to 50% of the purchase price upfront before pick-up.
Once picked up, on average it takes 3-4 days for the equipment to arrive and be checked in at our location. As soon as this happens and everything is as described, we send the final payment that same day. From start to finish, the entire process takes about 1-2 weeks depending on availability and loading schedule.

If you have a data center that needs to be or will need to be decommissioned, you have come to the right place. We are partnered with the largest data center decommission company in the country, ensuring that you receive the best service, value, and peace of mind that your data center decommission project will be done in the safest way, meeting all local and federal laws and guidelines. We put a value on all the equipment associated with the data center that will be removed. We then apply this value to the cost of removal. Depending on the amount of equipment and its age, in most cases, this value covers the cost of removal, with additional value left over that will be paid to you at the end of the project. We will perform the following:
- Remove all equipment and associated wiring, piping, and conduits to the wall.
- If required, we will lay down protective materials to protect flooring along the path of removal.
- Ensure the safety foreman is on-site at all times.
- Leave the space broom swept, with no loose hanging wires or piping, ready for future build-out.
